MIDDLETOWN, Ohio – Ohio Christian University forward Devon Miller averaged a double-double to garner River States Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for Jan. 10-16.
Miller, a sophomore from Grove City, Ohio, put up 17.5 points and 12.0 rebounds per game and had two double-doubles in two contests. He also added 1.5 assists per game and shot 65 percent from the field (13 for 20).
The biggest game of the week was 20 points and 14 rebounds in a 77-68 win over Midway (Ky.). He was 7 for 11 from the field and 6 for 6 from the foul line in the victory. Earlier, Miller had 15 points and 10 rebounds on 6 for 9 from the floor in a loss to IU Southeast.
Ohio Christian (4-12) improved to 2-5 RSC and will be at Brescia (Ky.) and at Oakland City (Ind.) this weekend.
